Industry Specific Reference Models
Reference models represent a complex structure of interdependent elements whose relations and properties are determined by a common functional purpose.
For instance, Building Codes and Ordinances in construction and Gray's Anatomy in health care are reference models that provide the fundamental insight required for the practitioners in these industries to be successful.
Similarly, Proact's industry-specific reference models provide the insight required to optimize the Enterprise's business transformation. The importance of industry-specific reference models is highlight below.

Optimizing Migration
Many corporations are still not convinced that their return on investment will be realized, because too many implementations have taken up time and resources, with few, if any demonstrated results. This happens when the architecture lacks the holistic approach required to identify and link the critical dependencies throughout the Enterprise and assumes that its baseline - "where the company is today" - is the correct starting point in the transformation towards alignment. In both cases, the knowledge base behind the developed Enterprise Architecture is insufficient and may be flawed, commonly resulting in migrations that attain sub-optimal capability improvements - highlighted below.

Proact incorporates Reference Models into this Enterprise Architecture methodology to provide the insight to (1) correct the baseline, (2) develop the target, and (3) optimize the migration towards alignment and agility - highlighted below.
